The Oaks at Ojai
We have in our lives many, "A-Ha" moments, that light bulb of understanding that illuminates a situation, a person, a problem for us suddenly. When is the last time you had an "A-Ha" moment in regard to your health?
For many of you, the Oaks is a positive "A-Ha" place, where you re-connect with how good it feels to eat well and to be active. Sometimes, it may be a negative "A-Ha" when we step on the scale and are shocked by that number, or we see the Dr. and get a grim fact in regard to what our physical reality is. Maybe it's just trying to zip up a pair of pants that really ought to fit and just don't!
The Healthy & Happy "A-Ha" moment is the moment that motivates us to move from where we are to a better place. It's the moment that we resolve to change SOMETHING for our own best interests. It's the moment that moves us to clearly examine what is and create a strategy for what needs to be.
Today, I encourage to take out a journal, or a notebook, and take stock. Are you happy with what is? Are you comfortable in your body? Are you enjoying the best health available to you right now, and if not, why not? Are you making healthy choices in your thought life, time pursuits, eating & exercise habits, relationships, spending, spiritual life, stress management, sleep patterns, and whatever else fills your days? Write it out, work it out, and look for your own,
"A-Ha Moment"
